The Irix 11mm f / 4.0 Blackstone has a sturdy and robust casing made of aluminum and magnesium. This makes it somewhat heavier (790 grams) than its optical brother (Firefly) but the more robust. The quality of this lens makes the Blackstone a lens that can handle any situation, and therefore never has to leave your photo bag. The engraved, fluorescent markings on the Blackstone make it easy to operate in all light conditions. Making the perfect photo is close at hand!

Firefly - the lightweight choice without compromises
The Firefly is equipped with the same high quality mechanisms as the Blackstone, but comes in a handy, lightweight design. This lens owes its name to the lighter weight. This unique wide angle lens weighs less than 730 gram; so that you can take it anywhere.
Both models (Firefly & Blackstone) offer the possibility to use 29x29mm ND filters in the back slot of the lens. This compact size filter system provides a sustainable solution for long-shutter photography. At this moment the Irix 11mm f / 4.0 is made in both versions for SLR cameras from Canon (EF), Nikon (F) and Pentax (K).
